Ok so raise your hand if your cell phone is within 5 feet of you right now. You might even be reading this on your cell phone. Well guess what…chances are your greatest productivity is near you at all times. That’s right your cell phone or smartphone that is. According to a recent poll published in Time Magazine we have all become quite addicted to our devices. Take a look at some of these stats.

Smartphone Addiction Stats:

– 84 percent of respondents said that they could not go a single day without their cellphones.

– 50 percent of Americans sleep with their phone next to them like a teddy bear or a spouse, a number that includes more than 80 percent of 18-24 year olds.

  • Evernote. All day, every day. iPhone, IiPad, computer – I use Evernote on every device.

Just got in from a walk to grab coffee, it turned into a walk around the park planning out target audience demos on my phone, continuing from a note that was started on my laptop using Evernote.

  • Tim,

I think that is one of the best features of Evernote – the ability to start work in one place and pick up right where you left off with a different device. I would be lost without it. Thanks for chiming in!

    Joseph,

Loved the ideas you shared about using pictures to make life easier. And I was happy to see that I was already using quite a few of the ideas.
You seem like someone who is on the ball and who wants to make a good, professional impression publicly. May I mention that there are quite a few misspellings in your post? You may want to have someone look it over for you. Hint: Furniture. Hint: Your = something that is yours; You’re = “you are,” so “You’re Greatest Productivity Tool Is In You’re Pocket” should be “Your Greatest Productivity Tool Is In Your Pocket.” I hope you don’t mind the observation. Good luck to you!
