How To Let Go Of What Is Holding You Back

Flashback To September 2012 

I needed a second job. I needed to find a way to make some extra cash on the side in order to pay off debt, save for the future etc. You know the drill.

I just turned in my 3rd resume to a pizza delivery place. Denied. “No, I don’t have any pizza delivery experience.” I’ve worked in the corporate world for the past 13 years (jeez has it been that long)  so I guess they figure I would be incapable to drive a cardboard box to a specified address. Frustrated in my inability to land a second job I started googling other ways to make a side income.

The Lightbulb Moment

That’s when I happened to stumble across Pat Flynn’s site Smart Passive Income. I started to read about all the different ways one could make money online.  Then I stumbled across a section on Pat’s blog where he shares his income reports for all to see.

I had no idea this was even possible unless you were some shady marketer or Ebay guru. And the best part was…he was doing it while helping people! That is far more rewarding than delivering pizzas! So I started learning everything I possibly could about starting my own blog that could help people.
